Our Beliefs
At Faith City Church New Caney, we are a Spirit-filled, Bible-based church committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ and the pattern of the early church found in the Book of Acts. We believe in the transforming power of the Gospel and in living out our faith through love, holiness, and mission.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — the final authority for salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
God
We believe in the one true God, who has revealed Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. God is not three persons but one — Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9)
Salvation
We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, demonstrated through obedience to the Gospel — repentance from sin, water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as experienced in the Book of Acts. (Acts 2:38; John 3:5; Acts 10:44–48)
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to continue His mission on earth — proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and demonstrating God’s love and power to the world. (Ephesians 4:4–6; Matthew 28:19–20)
Christian Living
We believe that God calls His people to live a holy and separated life — inwardly and outwardly — as a testimony of His transforming power. We pursue a lifestyle that reflects His character in word, action, and appearance. (Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 6:17; 1 Peter 1:15–16)
The Second Coming
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His Church. Those who have been born again will live eternally with Him, while those who have rejected Him will face eternal separation. (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20:11–15)
